Accounts Payable Specialist/Administrative Assistant

The Position reports to the Office Manager.
The job will consist of providing support to our managers and other employees, assist in preparing daily reports, input vendor bills, pay vendors, daily accounts payable maintenance, correspondence with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, prepare reports and maintain appropriate filing systems.
Ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written skills and have the ability to keep their work organized.
Must be proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word and knowledge of working office equipment such as printers and copiers.
Previous Accounts Payable experience is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
